Pixel IR-231 infrared remote control supports single shooting, continuous shooting, BULB shooting, and 4s delayed shooting.
The IR-231 remote control features a block-and-fire shooting function which will be very useful when shooting wildlife or motion triggered photography. Since it's an infrared remote control it won't be affected by radio signals emitted by other photographer nearby.
You can use IR-231 remote control on a different brand/make camera simply by using a suitable connecting cable (sold separately). The max operation range is about 15 metres.
The remote control can be set to fire the camera shutter automaticlly and instantly when an object blocks the infrared signal between the transmitter and the receiver, it's a must to have gear for wildlife photographer. It has 3 different channels to avoid signal conflict.
To activate the camera just half-press the button and to take the picture just fully press the button. Infrared remote control isn't like radio wireless remote control they can only receive signals sent directly to them (or less than 30 degrees). Infrared signals can be easily affected by sunshine and the operation range and functions can be affected by the working environment.
