The S-8U93 Sony BP-U Series DV Camcorder Battery from SWIT functions as a replacement battery for the Sony BP-U90 and is compatible with the Sony PMW-EX1/3/F3/200/FS7/PXW-X160/180 series cameras. The battery exchanges digital information with your camera, allowing you to display remaining power information on the camera's viewfinder. A 14.4V nominal voltage provides an 86Wh / 6Ah capacity and an approximate 6-hour runtime when the LCD monitor is on.

A D-tap DC output socket enables you to connect an on-camera LED light, monitor, or wireless transmitter and receive power simultaneously with your camera. The D-tap socket can also be used as a charging input by the company's S-3010B portable charger. The battery features a 4-level LED power indicator for displaying the battery's remaining capacity and a 5V / 1A USB socket, creating a power station for your smart phone or tablet. The S-8U93 can be charged using the Swit S-3602U or Sony BC-U1 and charges from 0 to 100% in about 3 hours and 50 minutes. When using the SWIT S-3010B portable D-tap charger, the battery will take approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes to fully charge.
